Here are the results of JFF runs for the week of March 2nd, 2004. The course this week varied from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. By Wednesday morning it was designed to more closely simulate the finals course at the AKC Agility Nationals this year. 

Here are the results of JFF runs for the week of February 24th, 2004. JFF is a fun way to simulate an agility run in a trial except that the handler can use treats or toys. I love to end a class with a simulated trial run and that goes back to my first class in New York in 1998 where we always ended with a timed run. My nerves would go through the roof in anticipation of these runs which were inevitably filled with errors back in those early days of agility for me. In JFF I assign faults by tens. In some cases there are enough faults that I loose track. Once you start to see 1 or fewer faults then you know that you are ready to start trialing. In general dogs that are getting lots of faults in these runs will not be ready to trial yet. The lowest final time would be the winner in this competition. All of the advanced dogs had at least two chances on the course. I am showing their best times here. The beginners did great and only had time for one shot at the 10 obstacle course with 10 gated weavepoles!
